sounds great! Jason has a great voice, I can't wait to hear new traxxx

JamesMichael 03/21/12 12:04 PM

Seriously one of the best voices in the scene. I know every ones going to be like another ballad but sounds amazing. Looking forward to hearing a studio track off the new album soon. Jasons come a long way since Mayday Parade.

Dodge725 03/21/12 12:06 PM

I like it. This is the sort of song Jason is so great at, even back in his MP days: slow acoustic/ piano ballads.

herestoyoufla 03/21/12 12:10 PM

Perfect as always.

brandon_260 03/21/12 12:19 PM

Sounds good. I hope the new album isn't overly ballad ridden.

Tbartsch66 03/21/12 12:23 PM

This is amazing. His voice is so unique. I really think this band is about to make it big.

On the contrary, I want an album of nothing but ballads....

guitarguy211 03/21/12 01:14 PM

This sounds great--his voice (like everyone else has said) is one of the best IMO. Looking forwrad to seeing this live in a month.

HeyItsAllyssa 03/21/12 01:19 PM

yeahhh more Jason ballads!

WTG 03/21/12 01:23 PM

Are you going to one of the GR shows that is near Tally (since they aren't coming back to Tally this time around)?

mattregan 03/21/12 01:27 PM

Need lyrics.

Rysker6 03/21/12 01:38 PM

Can't wait to hear their new record, really hope it's better than "Lucky Street".

omgitsyvette 03/21/12 02:28 PM

I absolutely love it. Could not be more stoked for the new album!!

Ryan Gardner 03/21/12 02:30 PM

Love anything Jason does

billyboatkid 03/21/12 02:36 PM

Holy crqp from what I could make out another amazing song. God I love Jason and Go Radio. Got the OG EP signed at warped. One of my favorite bands currently. New album is gonna be tits.

bobsheiskawy 03/21/12 03:38 PM

sounds good to me. when's this album due? if it's anything like lucky street, it should be an easy pick for top ten.

ShadowOfAdakias 03/21/12 04:23 PM

While Jason's ballads are fantastic, I miss the energy and the style of Do Overs and Second Chances. I felt as though Lucky Street didn't have that. It had some amazing songs, but the EP was a stronger release in my opinion. This song does sound really good though.

DampPants4 03/21/12 04:44 PM

I was thinking about hitting the Gainesville one or maybe the one in Orlando (if there is one)

What didn't you like about it?

Also, Jason is one of the few artists who I'll always love what they do.

Broden Terry 03/21/12 07:10 PM

As much as I enjoyed Lucky Street, that album opener was so ordinary. I can't remember ever having to continually skip the opening track of an album before.

According to this interview during SXSW it sounds like a mid to late summer release. August-ish.

Sadly have to agree. It had its moments. But I skipped it a lot.

Naenia 03/22/12 05:12 AM

Of course, I've been looking for something to listen to as well!!

Go radio it is, then. Looking forward to the new songs.

Production, the sequencing, I don't think it's a terrible record by any means, I just think "Do Overs" was such grand EP, I was anticipating something in the vein of that. I think Lancasters songs really benefit from Odom & Mount manning the boards, and their production is just top notch.

dani1292 03/22/12 11:34 PM

Oh man, this makes me so so stoked to see them next month.

LessThan3 03/29/12 08:20 AM

This sounds amazing <3 I'm really excited for this album already

Did you see on Facebook that they're opening up the engine room for them to play this year? My friends in "It's a trap" are opening for them i believe.

Yup, already got my ticket. Interested to see what the Beta Bar/Engine Room/Gaines Street Station/whatever they are calling it now looks like this time. Setup usually changes with the name change.

It should be pretty cool. How much were the tickets? I gotta get mine cause they usually sell that place out.
