and it is good.

ÖzgürKurtoglu 03/26/12 09:28 AM

sounds like the end of the world.

I love it.

IWasHerHorse 03/26/12 09:32 AM

Really great. I'm glad they haven't let being the best band ever go to their heads and they can still do cool stuff like make ambient parts in first singles. Definitely can hear Alex's influence, this track reminds me of "Indian Summer" off the Jonsi and Alex album.

blunks182 03/26/12 09:36 AM

Tracklisting:
Ég Anda (“I Breathe”)
Ekki Múkk (“Not a Peep”)
Varúð (“Caution”)
Rembihnútur (“Double Knot”)
Dauðalogn (“Dead Calm”)
Varðeldur (“Campfire”)
Valtari (“Steamroller”)
Fjögur Pianó ("Four Piano")

Edit: Added Fjögur Pianó

FUCKDIRTYWIPES 03/26/12 09:37 AM

so, so good.

FireInTheSky 03/26/12 09:37 AM

I adore this.

But is it fair to ask what their drummer will be doing for 80% of this album?

Pitchfork has this as the track listing. Basically the same as yours, just with one more song which is a plus in my book!

I agree with the Riceboy Sleeps comparison. Fine with me though!

I think it is...I get the same impression, but we'll see. This is only one song.

I also hear some Riceboy Sleeps but I'm really excited that the direction of the new album seems to be similar to ( )

tonethehero 03/26/12 12:43 PM

On Heima (their first film), the drummer also plays marimba, and the organ. So he'll probably be doing something like that :)

Bruycker 03/26/12 01:30 PM

This is unbelievable. I can hear the Riceboy Sleeps stuff, of course. But still this still feels more of a Sigur Ros song to me. The piano sounds really really good. I'm going to be so happy to see them again.

zoidberg_PL 03/26/12 01:56 PM

i'm stocked for this^___^

kazuma_ootaro28 03/26/12 02:50 PM

Vintage Sigur Ros. Love it!

The Minn 03/26/12 03:08 PM

sounds like ( ) which is great! aw fuck it. the band could partner up with justin bieber and make a shitty song and i will still love it.

oldwirehands 03/26/12 03:32 PM

Since they are one of my all-time favorite bands, I am thoroughly excited to hear this, and shit my pants in the process.

cshadows2887 03/26/12 03:40 PM

Unsurprisingly, this is gorgeous.

dash64 03/26/12 05:53 PM

New album will be so, so good.

The.Grim 03/26/12 07:28 PM

So gorgeous. Sigur Ros were always at their best making this type of music, IMO.

Argentine 03/26/12 07:40 PM

Absolutely beautiful.

Mens 03/26/12 10:33 PM

these guys record better than anybody
