Damn, that's crazy. I wish them the best.

 need more info to be interested.

the band doesn't want to tour anymore (it's obvious, just look at anything they have posted including their twitters, etc) so getting craig to do a record with them really makes sense. he will be touring with DRUGS, of course, while chiodos only does shows from time to time.

Too bad if they really do break up, I've never heard Illuminaudio but I really liked Bone Pallace Ballet backaday.

minusblindfold 03/28/12 07:26 AM

I just hope that the singer will be part of another project soon or else it will be a waste of talent. He's made a great contribution to Yesterdays Rising and Chiodos.

Someone on here mentioned Brandon could join Saosin... I like that idea :) (assuming Tillian is no longer in contention)

I'll be pretty fucking happy if he rejoins. I love everything Craig does. Anyone who doesn't think D.R.U.G.S., Chiodos, I & G, and Cinematic Sunrise are all solid bands is insane. Not only is he talented, but the people he surrounds himself with always are. Yeah, I'm a 26 year old, male, Craig Owens fanboy. Wanna fight about it?

betweenvega 03/28/12 08:26 AM

Brandon Bolmer made this band so much better than they could have ever been with Craig.

I hope they decide to move on instead of having Craig back. I really liked Illuminaudio but I haven't enjoyed any of Craig's material with them. At least not on the level I enjoyed Illuminaudio.

Rafael Moriel 03/28/12 08:47 AM

These guys deserve better; Illuminaudio was a great album and I think it's unfair to say that without Craig they're nothing.

All the stars seem aligned for the return of Owens.

My sleeper pick is Tilian Pearson. I know Pearson is doing the one Saosin record, but there has not been any confirmation past that. You never know.

My coma pick is Cove Reber...he's sort of a free agent still (and boy would that create some drama).

Oh, how the Scene turns...

In his statement he talked about how he's going to be focusing on making music for the sake of loving music from now on or something to that effect.

Or most bands, hell.

I think just the fact that they kicked the dude out 2 years ago is justification enough for not talking about it anymore.
