Don't you put that out in the universe!

I hate that dude's voice. I got to see them live and they would not be so bad if it wasn't for their vocals.

horrible news. yellowcard is still a really solid band, but they've been touring with some pretty horrible bands lately.

To be fair all of those bands are friends. They have toured together. Yellowcard probably are writing lyrics and the guest just sing. They both have good voices so I can't complain. This also may be a great Yellowcard record that also appeals to a younger or at least newer market which to be fair yellowcard deserves more attention.

Greatest idea ever. i cant believe they didnt do this before. the only thing that would make this album even more perfect is to add someone like Pierre from SP or Mark Hoppus

I'm excited. Alex and Ryan have great voices. It'll be really cool to hear what they do together. It'd be even cooler if they played it on Warped..

Yes yes and yes to all the great guest vocal possiblities. Maybe add Alex DeLeon to the list?

I like all the guests they're having on the cd--it's getting me super excited to hear this even more now.

I get the feeling with both of them on Warped, there will be some sort of collab song in their set--I hope at least.

Surprised they haven't collabed previously. So excited for this record. Seems like they are moving really fast too which is great.

Natalie Maines from Dixie Chicks I believe back on Lights and Sounds. Maybe it was just my imagination.

Ryan Gardner 03/28/12 08:20 PM

Sounds like an awesome collaboration

I agree with all of this. The guest parts, at their core, are still Yellowcard, so you can't complain that much even if you don't like the guests. I would be highly surprised if these two guests RUINED the songs haha.

The reason this news excites me is because Neil Avron is producing.

This album sure is shaping up to be a shitshow.

How?

Would you know the difference if it was random girl compared to Cassadee?

stonecoldfox 03/28/12 09:09 PM

I don't care for either of the guest vocalists' bands, but their voices added to the music of yellowcard? Yes please.

Probably. I mean i listened to Hey Monday's album a few times and her voice is pretty distinguishable. And I don't like it at all. Don't really like listening to Alex's voice much anymore either, kinda grates on me.

The last YC album just barely clicked with me and with this slew of guests (and apparently more to come) I am not that excited.
