Davey Havok Working on Movie Script

A tweet from Travis Kopach has revealed that AFI singer Davey Havok is currently writing a full-length movie script.

Not sure how I'm supposed to respond to this

ParkwayTom 04/10/12 05:15 PM

Oh.

aradiantsunrise 04/10/12 05:17 PM

Could be interesting.

kwhiteside01 04/10/12 05:25 PM

I love that he mentions Michelle Branch and AFI in the same tweet.

MattyBroxx 04/10/12 05:40 PM

I wonder what the band's up to as a whole, kind of on the back burner for now I guess.

botDs-r 04/10/12 05:49 PM

So am I

Born_For_This 04/10/12 06:04 PM

Sounds interesting, but I really only want music. AFI, not Blaqk Audio or anything else.

motorcadeau 04/10/12 06:34 PM

He could probably turn out a pretty cool horror script if that's what he's writing.

Every time I step foot in a Starbucks out here someone's having a "meeting" or writing the next big hit.

It's very weird to see the memes from where they came from. Like the Yao Ming or Jackie Chan one.

This is blowing my mind.

Good one, man! We're all so proud of you today.

Sing The Sorrow was expertly written, and it's clear that Havok knows exactly how to utilize theme and mood to serve his work, so I'm super curious to see what he comes up with!

LastDeclaration 04/10/12 09:29 PM

will surely be terrible and never made. but then again, i would have been very skeptical of rob zombie's screenwriting capabilities, and he ended up making some excellent stuff.

AussieBoy 04/10/12 09:50 PM

More AFI. less scripts and blacq audio

to each their own, we can at least agree on Zoolander. personally, I thought House Of A Thousand Corpses was hilarious, Devils Rejects sucked, and the Halloween movies have been just kinda unimpressive, to me at least.

Mos Def however, I think, is actually a very underrated actor.
