Sigur Rós will return to North America for their first live shows since 2008. Check the replies for information.

Following a tour as a core four-piece at the end of 2008, the upcoming shows in North America will feature up to eleven people on stage, creating what are certain to be some of the summer’s most magical musical moments:

omg. I'm so used to Oregon not getting any love that whenever I see tour dates announced I check them pretty much assuming they'll ignore Oregon/Washington/Idaho, but yay! And a few days after my birthday!!

Buying a single day ticket for whichever day they're playing at Lolla. Anyone else at the Chicago Theater in 2008? I feel fortunate that they're at least coming to Chicago, but I have to say, I would definitely prefer a theater show over an enormous outdoor festival.

bought my lolla ticket mostly because of them. still hoping they will announce another date close to me. I've never seen them but I imagine it to be one of the best concert experiences of my life already (high expectations..). Though I'm sure they'll deliver.
