I'm Not Drawing The Same Connection Here
In a recent interview, Tom DeLonge stated that, "After this year, my schedule is going to be a lot easier." This led the publication to state that they thought Tom was hinting at the "end of the Blink 182 reunion." Without seeing the quote in context, which is not provided, I'm not really sure how they came to this conclusion. Seems like how most album cycles come and go: The band released an album, toured, did press - it was crazy busy. Now the tour and press will wind down, they will focus on other projects for a while -- and then I'd assume they would gear up for another Blink 182 project/album in another year or so. Always thought that was going to be what happened. Or ... well, panic?

![]() no seriously, i doubt its the end of blink… again… maybe he is realizing angels and airwaves isnt the same as what it use to be? |
I'm just gonna wait for the quote before assuming anything

Sounds like they're just looking for hits

i'm sure he just meant that he had 2 albums and a movie come out this year, as well as a couple of big tours. and like Jason said, with all the press and shit surrounded all of that, it must have been craaaaaaazy busy for him. next year, there most likely won't be any new albums or anything too wild so he can relax a bit.

Tom needs time to train to become an astronaut.
|
That could mean he's done with Angels, since no one seems to care anymore.

i honestly feel like AVA has run its course, it may be a smaller and easier band to run and manage because of how short its been around, but musically, it hasn't gotten any better, and film wise it takes too long for things to happen and be released.
i feel that especially with blink hitting 20 years that should be a sign that its good for the long run, i do enjoy angels and airwaves, but i think that blink is whats gonna last them past 35 if they plan to keep making music |
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if Tom focused solely on Angels & Airwaves after this year. It's obviously his top priority, and if Blink goes on another hiatus, we might get some music from +44 again.
