Evan said he's likely saving the full band stuff for a headliner, or something else special. SAOTW has got to be way more difficult because it's several different bands, and I don't know why Evan wouldn't want to write full-band material for himself if he feels it doesn't work for SAOTW.
well you know what I meant. Why record and sell an album full of drums, bass and guitars and tour forever as just a dude and acoustic guitar? From at least my perspective, that is false advertising. Proper was one of my favorite albums of last year, but honestly, I have zero interest in seeing those songs played on 1 guitar, no matter how good he may play them. I want what's on the album.
The same thing goes for Owen. Owen live bores me so much because all the cool layers and harmonies are just... missing. and it sucks.
I read that Evan wants it to be a full band, but he wants to find the right people. It seems like this shouldn't be that hard, as he seems like a super cool friendly guy, and there would be people knocking his door down if he put together a "be part of into it over it" tryout session.
