AP.net Presents: Paul Shirley and Max Kerman (Arkells) Podcast
 

Today we've got something new for you guys. It's a podcast featuring Paul Shirley, whose View From the Back column has appeared on AP.net many a time, and Max Kerman of Canadian rock band Arkells. Paul's podcast, dubbed "FlipCast" and normally hosted on FlipCollective, is usually co-hosted by either Mick Shaffer or Riley Breckenridge (Thrice), but this is a special version. You can check out the first 10 minutes of the podcast in the replies, which includes a new Arkells song from their newest album Michigan Left, and if you like what you hear, download the rest of the 45-minute podcast on iTunes.

I put 'Michigan Left' on my 2011 EOTY list...didn't know until recently it didn't have an official U.S. release. Dang.

Arkells have been popping up in so many places lately, which is awesome.
