I would think that you'd have already taken a look at your username and realized that thisisntworking for you, and have left the thread long ago my friend... |
I don't know either of you well but Jeff there's no way a news site can't comment on something that was actually said at a show like that. It may end up being nothing 9 times out of 10 but it's not like someone made up it being said. It's being posted so someone can give a comment back and let them know the true story of what's up. Fans just misunderstood Adam's humor and thought it was serious. I can't speak for you but with this case it probably just rubbed you the wrong way and made you frustrated, happens to everyone at times. Let's hug it out.

Also, didn't someone from your label (the horses mouth as you put it) say it was for "school or something", which ended up being completely wrong, and therefore, uncreditable as well? And then, low and behold, some "random kid on the internet" (Jason), got to the bottom of the story before the "horse"? Weird. Raise the white flag man. Battle's over. |

I think a little more research should have been done, before posting this on the front page. Jason, you yourself said it was cleared up 5 minutes later....you just couldn't wait to post it it seems.

Oh, good, now we're called idiots. Seems like a good way of handling something that was cleared up hours ago: throw gas on the fire!

Oftentimes, the PR releases are more biased than the fans. It just doesn't seem fair to say Jason or AP.net should not have posted news given to them from someone who heard it from the band himself, and then update the news post as the story develops. That's how essentially every media handles news. |
