Thrice Recording Upcoming Tour For Live Album
 

Thrice will be recording portions of their upcoming tour for a live release.

Message from the Band

On Friday we announced a pre-sale for two additional hometown shows. Due to the overwhelming demand, a lot of people didn’t get the opportunity to purchase tickets in time so we wanted to try and accommodate as many people as we could. We also announced that we’ll be recording portions of the tour for a live album that is scheduled to be released early in the Fall. More details to come. Tour is just a few days away now. We’re really looking forward to seeing all of you soon.

i'm pretty sure this was announced a long time ago, but still. YAY!

I'm glad they aren't doing a live dvd, so they'll be able to pull together performances from a bunch of different concerts and venues and hopefully get the most diverse setlist out. I think it would be silly to put a single song on this cd that appeared on Live at the House of Blues.

And i 4th the notion for the new Milly! I still remember being blown away when I saw it at their Beggars tour. It was so weird because I couldn't even recognize it at first! I'm not so sure about "The Great Exchange", but personally I would love it if the new live album was saturated with just Beggars songs and then rarities like "The Weight of Glory."

Live at the house of blues if my favorite live album/DVD, so I'm stoked for another with beggars and major/minor material on it.

I'm absolutely ecstatic about seeing these guys one last time. Having a live album to accompany it is even better.

Really, really excited to see two days of this tour.

I would love to get out to CA for a final show, but I don't know how I can justify the flight (~$500 roundtrip) and hotel without planning to be out there for a more lengthy period of time.

This will surely be amazing.
