To what degree does it look that way?

"After much thought and consideration" absolutely means they've known about it longer than the past 24 hours.

If they just found out Craig was going back to Chiodos they would most likely have a little more resentment toward him and would not have written an update of the situation so light-heartedly. I think I could also venture to say that they would have had to have given a blind eye to their entire fan-base for the past several weeks.

I think it's safe to say these guys weren't out of the loop when the announcement was made. Craig said in his last interview "This is not the end of D.R.U.G.S." That said, I'm sure over the past month the guys in the band compared pros and cons and decided they would be better off not waiting around to push D.R.U.G.S. during Craigs Free time. This gives them the ability work on their own projects or their own reunions and prevents them from being tied down to a band that will clearly be on the back-burner at least for a while.

Agreed, always thought Chiodos was garbage but that Drugs record had it's moments..whatever.

I wish Nick, Aaron & Matt the best of luck in moving forward, in whatever it is that they decide to do. They are all very talented individuals and I have no doubt that they will succeed no matter what it is they choose to do next. They stood next to me during one of the most difficult times in my life and I will never be able to thank them enough for what it is that they did for me. I wish them the best of luck and I hope, most of all, that they continue to make music. They're extremely talented and professional musicians and music fans should be treated to their talents for many years to come.

As for the future of DRUGS... I obviously have a few things to figure out as this was a completely unexpected turn of events. I will let you, the fans, know what the future holds for Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows soon.

I don't know where all these no Jason Hale rumors are coming from but they better be false. The bands not the same without him. That would kill most of the excitement I have for this reunion if he's out.

It was bound to happen. I would love to see Matt get FFTL back together so they can properly tour for Throne to the Wolves. Hopefully Chiodos gets some new music out soon.
