D.R.U.G.S. Members Quit
 

In light of Craig Owens rejoining Chiodos, the other members of D.R.U.G.S. - Matt Good, Nick Martin and Aaron Stern - have left the band.

Statement

After much thought and consideration we (Matt Good, Nick Martin and Aaron Stern) have decided to announce that we will be moving on from D.R.U.G.S. This decision has not been easy to make, and we want to express how grateful we are for all of you who have supported us and made this the incredible experience it has been over the past couple of years. We’ll always look back on our time in this band with pride, and have no regrets about the music we’ve made or the people we’ve made it with. We want to thank everyone who has believed in us, and we hope you’ll keep believing in us. We look forward to the future, and we know we’ll be seeing you again soon, no matter where our paths lead next.

This is the best thing that could've happened. The more creative attention Craig gives to Chiodos, the better. I have to wonder though, you think the other members of DRUGS knew about Chiodos reuniting? Not that I care. I didn't like that band and I fucking love Chiodos, so yay.

As much as I would love to see an FFTL reunion, I doubt it will happen. I'm going to bet that Matt moves on to electronic music and tried to be like Sonny. I hope not though.

And bring Sonny back! I'm sure he's not doing much these days..

The only thing i'd like to see come of this is to have Tanner who is now done with Chiodos and Nick Martin get Underminded going again. I personally liked Their second full length a lot and they had a good live show. Otherwise. Who cares, i'm tired of nonsense like this with every scene band.

Matt's doing electric music too. Travis has said on his Facebook he'd be down for a reunion if the other guys wanted to, and I know he and Matt are friends again. Who knows what will happen? I'm not holding my breath.

Just like how I was looking forward to a second album from Chiodos 2.0, I was also anticipating a second Destroy album. Their debut album didn't hit all of the right notes, but it still had incredible potential because of the folks involved. I really thought the future releases of both these bands would've been quite impressive. So many mixed feelings regarding these announcements.
