agreed. I'm sure there'll be more acoustic versions of this song that are more finely-tuned and less strained.

Yeah. I've watched/listened tons of Brian solo acoustic stuff and he does tend to mess with his vocals a lot, which leads to some versions being better than others. I have no doubt that he will perform better versions of this song in the future.

Are there any music industry people who know why Mercury premiered this song two weeks before you could by it?

It makes zero sense to me. There has to be a ton of people who looked to buy it after hearing it, found out they couldn't, then downloaded it somewhere for free.

Not a fan really. Sounds like he's straining big-time to hit a lot of the notes.

he IS sitting on the floor Indian-style

Fuck, dude looks old. Looks like an old hero.

Can't wait for this record.

Only Brian Fallon and the gang can get me this excited about an upcoming album.

Its like I'm a teenager and Deja Entendu is about to drop all over again!

If this song were on the '59 sound or American Slang, I'd listen to it the least. Consider me underwhelmed.

Never cared for this band until I watched that. Pretty good.

like this even more than the regular version, can we get a gaslight acoustics album

Agree on both counts

This would be a good song if any other band released it but after 3 amazing albums I'm a little underwhelmed with this song.

as someone in business, they're generating hype and spreading the word. some people obviously won't buy and just rip it, but alot will. maybe they're trying to top itines tops 1o and thus get even more hype and attention for gaslight

Still holding out for proper release to hear this song.

fsmith84 05/03/12 07:21 AM

Damn. The last verse sounds the best - I almost wish he would have sung the whole song in that lower octave. Brings a new sound to it.

...not in place of the recorded version though. His verses on that are absolutely perfect.

ElGordoTacos 05/03/12 09:32 AM

Wow, this sounds horrible.
