Hi everybody-

I thought I'd post because some people seem confused. Mike Z asked me to come perform some Thursday songs and tell stories about them, sort of like VH1 storytellers but just a small event in a club in Dallas. I thought it was an interesting idea, since there is a huge storytelling component that used to get swallowed up by the giant guitars and drums in Thursday. When Thursday broke up, we finished playing all the shows that we had booked(we wanted to honor all of our obligations) but we never booked a farewell tour because none of us were interested in making a big deal about the band ending. Thursday was the best thing that I've ever been a part of and I'd never try to cash in on it. This Dallas show sounded like a fun event that was part of a series. The Philly show was a free "warm up" since I've never played an acoustic set before. It's a fun challenge for me.

All of the members have gone on to new things(I'm writing for a bunch of different projects, including tv and film work) and we are so appreciative that we had such a long and loving relationship with the people who listened to Thursday.
