Brendan Kelly Plays New Lawrence Arms Tune
 

Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms recently performed a new song called "These Pigs Seem to be Getting the Best of Me" -- Kelly said that the song would probably appear on the band's next album. Check it in the replies.

I'd Rather Die Than Live Forever has to be the most criminally ignored record released so far this year.

Really well-shot video. Sounds like a solo song for now but should cool to hear when it's fleshed out.

He played this at the Wandering Birds CD release show, and I quite enjoyed it. Didn't think it sounded like a Larry Arms song, though, but whatever. At least that probably means it's going to happen, which is great news!

I'm always pleasantly surprised when they decide to put out new music.

Anyway I agree with the 1st poster the Wandering Birds album is one of my favourite releases this year and this song sounds awesome, I'd imagine it'll get the Larry Arms treatment of being sped up a bit & electrified

Nailed it. Never been a huge fan of Lawrence Arms but the Wandering Birds album is amazing, really looking forward to hearing more of this new material though.
