We Dont Need to Whisper is such a fantastic album. So spacious. Listening to It Hurts just took me back to the good ol' AVA days.

Honestly I think this is one of his best performances I have seen in a while. Have you heard the last Fuse performance? I love Tom, but I am the first to admit his live singing is horrendous.

Yep, and I Empire. WDNTW was the last of Tom's Old voice, and honest lyrics.

Tom (and the band for that matter) sound great in these videos. 9 times out of 10 Tom's AVA performances will always trump his Blink ones. Maybe he doesn't get drunk before AVA shows? His conviction during the Surrender verses really pumped me up.

The new drummer looks like he's way more into the music than the old one was. Lazy drummers always bothered me. You get paid a crapton to play an hour-long set. At least look like you're rockin' out.

These videos are pretty nifty, I love the spinning stage idea. Holy fuck, imagine that at every show you went to.

Tom doesn't sound all that great but I did hear he's been super sick. but he's been doing that deep vocal type singing ever since the 2nd or 3rd AVA record. I don't care for it, but you can't expect him to have that gnarly whiny voice he did when he was in his early 20's :P
