It looks like Monster and Tilly's are next to each other this year - and last year, AltPress teamed up with Tilly's on one stage sponsorship.

Seems like Main Stage will be the dual stage, and then Tilly's would be by itself

cococrisp20 05/26/12 08:02 AM

where do you see the dates that these ourstage.com bands are playing? I can't find it on their website.

Why nervous?
If you like a band you go see them live
If I was 40 and liked enough bands I'd still go
Its not cool when adults are in the pit imo, but if there just chilin watching the set all power to them ... mad respect

and those are some awful haircuts in that video, i thought that scene hair was over and done with

I know!! I debated driving 2.5 hrs to go see him about a week ago and decided against b/c of gas costs...and now he's coming to me for free!! I don't remember seeing him, either.

TheRealJohnOC 05/26/12 08:34 AM

Did anyone watch that whole video? The one guy gets 2 staples in his arm!!

kidinthebushes 05/26/12 08:34 AM

I'm so excited for Warped this summer. I'll get to see Patent Pending in Chicago and I Call Fives in Milwaukee.

The Acoustic Basement sounds so cool too.

Obviously ETID deserves it more, but I would much rather see ETID on this stage than mainstage.

i came to say that too. this is FUCKED UP!! skjsdlk well at any rate ETID WILL be on the main stage at my date in Buffalo since its their hometown. they were upstaged the year before they could be a main stage band but seriously how the fuck is this blood on the dance floor screamo douchecore shit on the main stage? i'm literally baffled and bewildered.

and while some may argue they like to see bands on a smaller stage I can agree to an extent but I'm a bitch when it comes to sounds and obviously the main stage sound packs some serious bass and punch. seeing a heavy band in a venue where the kick drum doesn't thud against your chest is a let down IMO.

They're really big. AP hates them, but they have a ton of fans especially in the Warped scene. Kevin likes them, they're nice guys honestly.

You guys are acting so weird about it. You really won't be out of place and awkward. It's not all 16 year old girls, not sure why you all think that haha

cococrisp20 05/26/12 04:22 PM

what kind of black magic has patent pending jumping back on board the day after the Philly date?

cubsml34 05/26/12 04:31 PM

ETID gets mainstage in 2010 but not now? Gah?

MBIIdollaBill 05/26/12 05:11 PM

Rise Against, Yellowcard, Taking Back Sunday, Every Time I Die, Senses Fail. Might check out The Used if they don't clash with other bands I want to see in hopes that they play "A Box Full of Sharp Objects."

theappreeshpost 05/26/12 05:42 PM

I go to a lot of pop-punk/scene-ish shows in my area and around and, generally speaking, I'm the only person by a few years that can even purchase a beer...and I've got that beat by 6 years.

I also have few people who've stayed into this type of music, so I'd be going alone which can be fun, but for an all day event could be a bit lame. It's nice to have someone to share the fun with. Everyone I know has just become so damn captivated by J. Biebs, Nicki Minsomething and heyijustmetyouandthisiscrazybuthere 'smynumbersocallmemaybe to care about Warped anymore. Womp womp.

You're worried about being too old for Warped and your friends are crazy about Biebz?! Well then...

I think Warped is easy to go to alone. You don't have to worry about someone else wanting to see a different band, etc. If you have enough bands to watch all day you'll be entertained!

brainstew123 05/26/12 08:35 PM

fuck yes patent pending

Haha some people just listen to whatever the pop radio and background music on Teen Mom tells them to listen to.

ashley916 05/26/12 09:56 PM

ahh shit i thought I remembered Patent Pending saying they were playing CT warped too. guess i was wrong :( oh well i'm sure i'll see them on tour in the summer! this lineup is way too good this year. just the mainstage (mostly) would be worth the cost of a ticket!

billyboatkid 05/26/12 11:34 PM

Are any of those bands good/worth checking out? If so RIYL please and thank you.

Smartpunk hasn't had a stage in years....and GK didn't sponsor one last year either. These are the stages from last year.
