Morrissey To Retire in Two Years
Looks like Morrissey is going to be retiring in two years, at age 55. I wish I could write something as poignant and emo as he could to describe my sadness at this news.

One last show (/tour) as The Smiths would be the best way to make this less sad.

Seriously... enough with the Morrissey jokes... they're just not funny anymore. Everyone's made them a thousand times, and yet he still makes great music. Not as good as The Smiths, but who honestly ever expected that?

Hope after retirement he just a fun dude who parties all the time and is all positive and crazy.

Glad i got to see him two weeks ago in Bakersfield. One of the most interesting shows i've ever been to. During "Meat is Murder" he had images projected of animals being mutilated in a slaughterhouse and he was almost crying as he was singing. The audience didn't know how to react. Anyway, great show, amazing post-Smiths career. More than most solo artists can accomplish after leaving the band that made them famous
