Warped Tour: Free Ticket Upgrade With #GIVEBLOOD Donation
Music Saves Lives, a non-profit encouraging youth blood donations, and the new charity based photo sharing app, PictureHealing have partnered to encourage Vans Warped Tour music lovers to donate blood. From now until June 16th donors can use PictureHealing to have their picture taken giving blood, post to their Twitter with the hashtag #giveblood and have a chance to win a free ticket upgrade for the 2012 Vans Warped Tour.

The trypanophobia in me is not looking forward to this being all over my twitter feed.

Or you can donate for the fact it helps save peoples lives. The only incentive you should need is feeling good about yourself for doing a good deed. Also I could be wrong on this, but don't you get to see one band of your choice from backstage if you donate? I thought I read some where that was the deal. |
I got the VIP backstage pass upgrade for free because my uncle works for Red Cross. He just gave me a bunch of them. I probably won't even use them.

I've run drives in NJ for the past couple years for Music Saves Lives. When you donate, you get a voucher which entitles you to special MSL meet and greets. The MSL restricted areas within the show venue allow donors to meet bands, take pictures and get autographs. At each date, the 1st 100 VIP voucher holders to register at the MSL Booth will also receive backstage access. Also, every donor will receive a 10 song download card.
That is for the NY/NJ dates. It may differ slightly by venue. |
There's too much swag in my bloodstream for me to share.

Holy shit I hope you are joking. If not, are you really that dense? |
Why is there only an iOS App for this? I have Android and I want to do it too dammit.
|
I just donated, so I wont be able to participate, but Ive never heard of picturehealing before. Can somebody explain how it works? I just downloaded it and looked around for like 15 seconds but it's a free app and there are no ads that I can see, so where does the money come from and how to they distribute it?
