A Plea For Purging will be breaking up after their next tour.

PLEA will be playing our final U.S. shows alongside, long time friends, AS HELL RETREATS in August and September of this year. The run has been dubbed the “QUIT YOUR BAND AND GET A JOB TOUR.” The last seven years have been amazing. Come have one more party and a few more stage dives with us at one of these final shows.

Did they announce the dates?

Haven't heard these guys in a while, but their albums were always great. Sucks that they're done.

Not a fan of the band, but that's too bad. I enjoy the tour name.

nope he's a big bald funny dude. They have a giant hairy bass player though.

Found this news out last night and really bummed about it. Some of the best band dudes I could ask to be friends with.

One of the better "heavy" bands. Bummed.

There's hopefully going to be a Tampa or Sarasota date of the tour too. Tampa would be better for me since it's only a 20 min drive, but I'd go either way.

Emphasis on funny. Ever since the days of Zambooie he's had me cracking up. Anyone remember the Scene Fairy?

Good riddance. I loved these guys back in the day, but after their second full length they became one of the most self entitled bands I've ever been around.

Scariest lead singer I've ever seen. Fun live show though, definitely.

Wish this came to California. Missed them the last time they came around.
