Fozzy Announce New Album

Fozzy will release Sin and Bones on August 14 via Century Media Records.

prospekt 06/13/12 12:54 PM

I still don't understand why they brought Jericho back just to job out to CM Punk.

Guess his WWE return is over with this new album.

I'm sure there was an agreement that he could leave for touring commitments. He'll be back. Unfortunately he was just suspended for 30 days. Then he'll have to leave again in August for the Uproar Festival.

they brought him back because they needed someone to fill the void with NO ONE being as good of a heel as he is.

Jericho loves putting people over. CM Punk needed to beat someone respected/legitimate.

ReidAR27 06/13/12 02:11 PM

They really botched his entire run since he came back. Those "end of the world" vignettes were some of the best I've seen but they ultimately made absolutely no sense because he didn't end up doing a damn thing. I respect him for putting over the younger guys but at the same time you have to maintain some level of credibility for those wins to mean anything.

Anyway.. Fozzy. Can't say I've ever listened to them.. Worth checking out or nay?

Stick to wrestling bro

Fozzy's not playing the day of Summerslam. August 19th I believe? It was the first thing I noticed when the dates were announced.

Good catch! He'll probably get written out after that.

Let's be honest with one another, he hasn't done shit since his return...

billy_yo 06/13/12 04:35 PM

Jericho went to vince and asked to feud with punk. Jericho was planning on leaving after wrestlemania but ended up resigning until the fozzy tour starts

wait now here 06/13/12 04:43 PM

Haven't really followed his wrestling career since about 1998 but did anyone ever catch the match where he faced Juventud Guerrera in a Title vs Mask match? Man that match was a phenomenal match... JUVI! JUVI!

Christian Wagner 06/13/12 04:59 PM

The fact that this whole thread is just wrestling talk makes me happy. Love you all.

SHESmyRUSHMORE 06/13/12 05:04 PM

glad hes gone for a bit, need more punk, Ziggler, and Daniel Bryan...YES! YES! YES!

I've also heard that Jericho was one of CM Punks top people he wanted to wrestle/feud with. Either way it was a bad ass feud, just wish WWE didn't suspend Jericho and let it fizzle out.

His feud with Punk was alright. Well, the story behind it was cheesy, but the matches were solid.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this was Foxy Shazaam related

Anyone seen his dvd? The documetary section was great. They cover from his childhood to his local matches, to touring the globe on the indy scene, WAR, ecw, smokey mountain, wcw and wwe.

I haven't seen his, but WWE usually does a great job on those documentaries. I think the last one I watched was Stone Cold's, which was top notch.

M.Lee 06/13/12 07:14 PM

lol Jericho did nothing but job for that entire 5 month run, lost every single ppv match

Merch_Mike 06/13/12 08:41 PM

i wish Jericho would have kept the Moongoose McQueen alter-ego with Fozzy

That was the idea. Y2J has no problem with putting guys like CM Punk over.

It's still a problem (mostly with creative). How am I supposed to find his character believable/engaging at all if all he does is lose?

edit: I know I had this discussion with people in the wrestling thread before.

The Gunz Show 06/14/12 03:49 AM

i'm not a big jericho fan at all.

but he had an agreement that he was able to tour with Fozzy written in.
and the whole Brazil "suspension" thing I believe was just used to write him out while he can tour.

he'll be back.

The Gunz Show 06/14/12 03:50 AM

im' so fucking pissed abotu Big Show though. he SUCKS. he can't talk, he has no ring skills whatsoever.
and John Laurinitis is the most annoying piece of shit ever. i fucking hate that guy. like , legitimately i can not fucking stand him. i wouldn't even consider him a has-been because he's fucking IRRELEVANT

The entire tour they go on in August /September, they actually play in the same cities at Monday Night Raw almost every week on the surrounding days and there's no shows on monday the entire tour. So he could theoretically make all Raws. The only clash is Night Of Champions

The Jericho DVD is awesome, the documentary and bonus segments are excellent. Third best WWE DVD, beaten by McMahon's 2 Disc and Austin's latest one.

I'm a fan of Jericho's return, especially the anti-return because he knew the internet would buttfuck everything he did for the first two weeks or so. shame about his suspension.

Agreed. The new edge dvd is great as well I reccomend both.

ReidAR27 06/14/12 08:13 AM

The Jericho documentary is basically his first book translated to video but without alot of the hilarious stories.

joel_one 06/14/12 11:09 AM

for those who haven't listened to fozzy, they are pretty good. i was one of those jerichoholics who never took the time to actually LISTEN to fozzy...just recently picked up their last record and thought it was decent. the music especially is pretty good, the singing is a little weird for me
