Is this really worth being that excited over?

...I mean she toured with Justin Bieber, writes boring pop music, and is only really famous for that Call Me Maybe song that everyone covers almost in parody. Honestly even less excited for Fun.'s next album as it does not sound they are going to try make up for Some Nights.

that way next year instead of TWO most overplayed songs of the year we get ONE.

I honestly love fun. and while Some Nights was a let down to me and I want to see them succeed and keep getting success I can't stand We Are Young anymore and this collab just sounds bad. Nate's best days may be behind him and thats not because of selling out.

I second that. Looking forward to hearing whatever comes of this! I love Some Nights, but also think it'd be cool to hear a return to the quirky style of A&I in the future.

Ever since the collab with Owl City I think this is promising. Plus, Nate's collab with Anthony Green was killer.

There was barely any autotune and I wouldn't call any of it unnecessary and I wouldn't call the lyrics generic either. Amazing album, still my AOTY.

Not a fan of that Call Me Maybe song. Heard it for the first time like last week and thought it was a snoozer. However, fun. is great and Some Nights is awesome, so I'm looking forward to see what comes from this collab.

How can they "make up" for an amazing album?

I think part of the mentality is, if I'm going to be force fed inescapable pop songs they might as well be so far off the cheesy pop scale that they're already kind of just a parody of pop music, as opposed to a song trying to masquerade as "serious" pop.

Two artists that write pop songs collaborating together. SO WEIRD.

This should be sugary pop greatness. Can't wait.

What is all this auto tune talk about? I promise you every artist you've ever liked since the late 90s, (probably before. Not an expert), has used auto tune unless otherwise noted.
