the beginning sounds like its from a drake song "take care"...anyone else hear that?

I hear it. wow.

The beginning is intentional; it's not a rip off or anything. Drake's "Take Care" samples Jamie xx's (Jamie xx is the one who does the percussion in The xx) song, "I'll Take Care Of U." So they're actually sampling Jamie, if anything.

Whole album is great, you guys definitely should check out Jamie xx's stuff if you guys like that song.

ok, honest thoughts: (ps we're new here and everything Jamie xx has totally redefined my music taste over the past few months, so don't get me wrong)

I thought the beat in this song was boring and not like other jamie xx / the xx stuff. I like the piano chords, but I just LOVE when jamie ad libs on the beat pads and focuses on that department.

That being said, I've streamed the "angels" video on their site too many times though, so my hopes are still very very high for the new album.

So does anyone see what I mean with this "swept away" song?
