yeah, it was heavy. i still like emmure more. vince's vocals are just too dull for me to want to listen for a whole song/album.

I can't back Emmure, but I will say that The Acacia Strain used to be a whole lot more interesting

Anyway, this song is pretty boring and awful. Continent was the only album by this band that I can actually back.

I do too, there's no competition. Frankie's voice has some more enhancement but it's faaaaaaaaarrrrrr more engaging and all around interesting to listen to. His lines are much more varied and actually seem more threatening while Vince is a very monotonous and one tone singer. I don't think he varies his pitch once on the last two albums.

I like their more "hardcore" influenced stuff. Their newest stuff is just more metal influenced.

But the lyrics in this song...ugh

Why is Vincent talking about the eye of providence?!

Emmure might as well be Limp Bizkit and that dude's voice is awful. I can't wait his vocal cords are destroyed to the point that he can no longer continue churning out such terrible music.

This alright. Nothing after The Dead Walk has ever grabbed me though.

i mean, it's a matter of different tastes, but i like the diversity in frankie's vocals compared to what i get out of vince's. not arguing he's a better musician, lyricist, or anything like that, but i think he's a more engaging vocalist. i like some songs from the acacia strain, but they've never really hooked me.

This adds on to what I was saying. There's simply no denying that Frankie is a more varied vocalist which has a huge impact for this slice of metalcore. And to the person who complained Emmure is here, the reason we're discussing this is because these bands are often compared I each other.

People legitimately like this stuff, and take it seriously? I feel like I could have written this in high school.

TAS is still one of the most boring bands in whatever genre they call themselves.

I'll always be grateful for their first 3 albums- they were SO good.

but the next 2 sucked, and this shows they have absolutely no plans in becoming interesting and unique again. I still don't understand how a band starts with 3 guitarists doing overlapping metal parts and turns into 1 guitarist playing the same boring chug riffs in every song.

give up acacia strain, you're done. emmure is better. and so is shut in based on what I've heard.

Not as stoked on this as I was the first song they released, but I'm looking forward to this album as a whole.

Solid tune. Should be another good album.

Continent is one of there best albums and wormwood was pretty good as well this song shows more of there hardcore side and people plz stp comparing acacia to emmure it gets old. Acacia will always be one of my favorite bands out there
