Grizzly Bear Play Late Night With Jimmy Fallon
 

Grizzly Bear played "Sleeping Ute" from their upcoming album, Shields, on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night. You can see the performance here.

Saw this earlier today, band is so good. Shields might just be my aoty so far.

I just listened to this and didn't really care for it. Is this indicative of their sound? I've heard a lot of good things but never really listened (aside from Childish Gambino sampling Two Weeks)

I feel like "Sleeping Ute" is a perfect example of the signature sound they have crafted but definitely not indicative of what they are capable of.

i cant figure out what i find so off putting about this band, they're a real talented group of guys, there's just something there i don't like.

that one fill the drummer did was fucking dirty tho.

I hate to be that guy, but Yellow House is the best thing they will ever do. Everything afterwards has sounded pleasant enough, but has left me bored. Songs on Yellow House had a lot of depth and content to grasp. The new songs still sound nice though.

Great performance, as always.

Although I seriously want to steal that guitar from Ed every time I see him with it just so I don't have to watch him not even pretend to play it. We all know he's just there to sing. Strapping on a guitar for the songs that Dan takes lead isn't fooling anybody. Wish he could just "be" during these songs.
