I don't love Mumford but this is really great to see.

I thought it was just the biggest selling rock record since 2008.

Edit: Yeah, Born this Way sold 1.108 million the first week, and even discounting the 440K amazon digital sales, that's still more than this.

Good for the industry, too bad it's coming from such a godawful band.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that since that record used a loophole they will not count albums that are that severely discounted in the future. I may be wrong, but that could be how it beats it? Not sure.

Confused. Didn't Taylor Swift's last album (came out in 2010) go platinum in the first week? Didn't Lil Wayne's last album do 800,000 in the first week? Kinda odd to say they're gonna have the biggest opening week sales in 4 years unless they mean in the rock category.
