Frank Turner Releases Tabs For First Two Albums

Frank Turner has released tabs for his first two albums.

I know a lot of these already, but this is still awesome and something more artists should do. People on Ultimate-Guitar generally do not have the best ears for figuring out songs.

nice! this is a pretty awesome thing for him to do... wish more artists would do this.

MalevolentHoff 10/10/12 03:12 PM

Further proof that Francis Edward Turner is amazing.

bobsheiskawy 10/10/12 03:35 PM

the notes are entertaining.

General question: why don't more artists do this?

They do, they just charge you. I feel like this should be free stuff.

Awesome thing to do

cubsml34 10/10/12 06:08 PM

It's dumb that artists want to charge people to learn their songs. It's also dumb that free tab sites use to get sued/shut down.

Glad he's doing like this for free.

These handwritten gems are going on my walls.

I've been playing Photosynthesis quite differently than this for a while. Thank god for this haha.

Do they really? I can only think of a couple times that I've seen artists selling tabs themselves. If it's a music book, I've found them to be about as reliable as ultimate-guitar.com (which is to say, they're hit or miss)

But either way, this is awesome

Shatter_Glass 10/11/12 10:10 AM

Amazing thing to do! Wish Thrice would do this.

runningohfive 10/11/12 10:38 AM

Cool. I'm definitely going to try these.

I know Led Zepplin is blocked on UG over here in the UK (strange...) and so is Feeder iirc. So, yeah, you have to buy it rather than get it for free. I'm sure there are more too.

Hopefully he'll release tabs for his later albums too.
