Damn what a tour, all bands I should listen to more of as well. Congress seems big for em though.

Coheed played Congress on the Black Rainbow tour. I'm not sure if they sold it out but it was packed as shit. Before that they played The Riviera for the Neverender tour, which is substantially smaller.

my concern is, how many songs will btbam play on this tour when they're only a co headliner?

last july-aug on summer slaughter btbam only play 5 songs.

Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Will do! What kind of music is it? Also where to start?

mrhauskins 11/05/12 09:05 PM

Holy Shit. Will be seeing this in Des Moines, even if I have to go alone. Oh yeeeaaaahhhh.

Instrumental post-rock/metal, their albums Enter and Empros are great.

I'm not familiar with BTBAM. What's a good album to start with/what's their breakout album that they might play a lot of?

I agree with the other guy saying Colors. Amazing album. Some of their biggest stuff is on Alaska though like Selkies

Incredible line-up. Hitting Detroit for sure.

And NYC is Coheed's hometown. They'll be able to fill Radio City imo.

Awesome line-up

Finally Coheed gets another prog giant on the same tour, I love their diverse lineups, but this one I think was a long time coming. See you guys at the Marquee.

I've never seen someone hit his drums as hard as Dave Turncrantz.

I didn't care that this wasn't coming to CT until I found out BTBAM is playing. Now I am sad.

As a huge fan of both Coheed and BTBAM, I may have to make a trip up to Chicago for this. Never even heard of Russian Circles.

Russian Circles are one of the best instrumental bands in existence.
