Philip Anselmo to Release First Solo Material

Philip Anselmo (Pantera, Down) and Warbeast will release a split entitled War of the Gargantuas on January 8th via Housecore Records. This marks Anselmo's first solo material, and he will follow it up with a full length.

I'm sort of interested in this. Phil was awesome in Pantera and i kind of dug the first superjoint ritual cd for awhile.

I heard some of the full length back in the spring and it is out of this world heavy. Get excited, it fucking kills.
