I wouldn't say they're repetitive. The record they're touring off of is very cohesive, so each tune in their 6-7 song opening set just has a similar vibe. If you want to listen, here are five diverse Now, Now songs:

- "Giants"
- "Dead Oaks"
- "Shifting"
- "Wolf"
- "Friends With My Sister"

At first I was bummed because I thought that Prehistoric was the only song they played, which is good, but I really wanted to hear Thread or Lucie, Too. Thankfully they played Thread. I absolutely love this band.

Love this band. Vocal performances were pretty bad on "Thread" though. Especially the back-ups.

Love to see this band grow. I'm glad to see them getting some of the recognition they deserve!

i would've perfered if they had played thread but it was awesome anyway seeing them get some attention

I literally thought the same thing when I saw a Ampeg cab without any of them playing bass. I do this live through an EQ/DI rack & maximizer into the PA. The results are pretty great considering it's an bass emulator. However, if you were to run the signal through a real bass cab and head like they do, you can hear the awesome results. It might feel unnatural at times since you wont get those sutle nuances from a human playing, but like CallMeTro said, it's likely they can't afford a touring bassist.
