i upgraded for about a night, it sucked on my setup

It feels like this band gets pushed so damn hard by their label but haven't seen much success. I feel like they've been stuck in the same spot for 3-4 years.

I have a Mac so I can't haha but I was at the Verizon store last night and while I was waiting I was playing around with Windows 8 a little and it was pretty cool. It's a hugeee difference so it could be kind of a messy transition for people who aren't great at adapting to new technology, but it's a cool OS

These guys deserve to blow up, Threads is in my contenders for AOTY. I also had the pleasure of meeting them while they were on tour with Motion City Soundtrack in the UK.

I am so close to upgrading, I just havent pulled the trigger yet

Just saw them in a basement a few days ago.

I tried it for a bit at Staples. Other than that new homepage/widget thing I didn't see a huge difference, they're just a bunch of shortcuts. As soon as you hit esc or click on the desktop icon you go back to the same old windows

Waiting for them to get a few key features before I do. Looks cool though.

If it has an intel chipset yiu can use windows on it i believe. But its an apple, so why would you haha

I had been running the beta on my desktop all summer but I can't live with it - went back to Windows 7

Oh yeah I wasn't suggesting that I would want to install it on my MacBook, but I have a Dell for work and I don't think I'd mind if we upgraded to 8 for that

I have a Hackintosh and i put Win8 on it and I don't like it at all. Went back to Win 7.
They tried too hard to make it simple that they just made it more complex. Neat idea though, just wasn't for me.

I'm ashamed that I am just now hearing of them. They sound awesome

They are on Jimmy Fallon, now this- yet they are playing first out of 4 bands tonight with Motion City Soundtrack. I don't like going into the venue that early...so I'll miss them.

So happy to see things finally picking up for these guys. "Threads" is an AMAZING album, and they deserve all the recognition they can get.

Love, love, love this band. They're great musicians and really nice people.

In my opinion, Windows 8 is an absolute disaster.

Same, hoping Valve's push for more linux gaming will start to pick up more steam (pun!).

OT I had no idea Now, Now has been around so long. First heard of them when they released their most recent album.

Definitely, I really wish they made it longer though.

Haven't even seen it before. But good to know they're going places!

I upgrade on my PC and I honestly can't tell a difference besides the start widget. I don't really use my PC so I'll leave it on there. It's an interesting concept, but I think it'll only work to it's full potential on something that's touch screen.

Woohoo! Good for them. The songs they performed on Fallon sounded great as well. This band deserves any and all success coming their way.

It's honestly not as different as people are making it out to be.

Check out Wolf and School Friends. Great songs. Actually all of the songs on Threads are great.

I completely agree with this. I NEVER like female vocalists, but for whatever reason, this album really hits home for me, & I have no trouble listening to the whole thing on repeat. I love the direction that they've taken since Now Now Every Children

Such a cool song. I upgraded my OS, it has a better design than 7, but I'm having a hard time using the UI, though.

Over the course of the last year, they've changed labels, toured with Motion City Soundtrack, toured with Fun., been in a TV commercial, and played Fallon. Hardly the same spot.

great band! i hope this gives them some more good exposure. windows sucks but now now does not.

these guys are growing a lot this year.....maybe it was their tour with Fun. either way i like that they're becoming more successful.

I just installed Windows 8 on my computer. I partitioned it so I still have Windows 7 also. Gotta say, I love Windows 8. At first, I was worried the learning curve would be too steep, but it's not in the slightest. Very impressed with it so far.
