Consider The Thief Album Info, Member Changes

Consider The Thief have begun work on their new record. Joey Vannucchi of From Indian Lakes will provide drums and additional instrumentation, in light of bassist Zack Walkingstick and drummer Luke Allen moving on. Vocalist Dryw Owens will produce/engineer.

Is Sean back? I'm really interested in this either way, just a question.

If they stay on the Signs and Wonders track - this cannot lose...

I'm on board for this.

I am beyond excited. Signs and Wonders is in my top 3 albums of all time, and if they go the route Sean was talking about, taking the electronic elements of Signs and Wonders to the extreme, I think we are all in for the treat of the century!

I really liked Signs and Wonders but for me they just missed that edge to be "really" good. If they can get the instrumentals to another level and have that "Thrice-Water" feeling I will surely love this.

This is exciting news. These guys were way talented.

I had this convo with a couple of people, but I think we anticipated that direction when I thought we were without a drummer/bassist. Now that Joey is writing, him and I am definitely writing full-band songs. It's sounding way better than I thought it would after three years.

There will still be some of the electronic elements (Dryw's demoed some songs), but not the entire record.

Just because I am the only one who talks, doesn't mean I am in charge :)

I read the info as:

sweet band is making a new album. sweet band gets help from a member of another sweet band.

Blake Solomon 11/12/12 07:18 PM

that is a really unfortunate way to spell drew
