In the replies you can listen to a remix of Rihanna's "Diamonds" featuring a lengthy opening verse from Kanye West.

Well, I still don't like the original, but there's something about Kanye's delivery in this that I just love. His enthusiasm, maybe. Whatever's the case, I actually really like this remix.

incognitojones 11/16/12 03:31 PM

Man I love how stoked he sounds on himself.

emo_boo 11/16/12 03:48 PM

kanye kills it.

Keagan Ilvonen 11/16/12 03:55 PM

Killlllllllllin' it

blimpcityhero11 11/16/12 03:55 PM

See: Katy Perry's "ET" remix

Keagan Ilvonen 11/16/12 03:56 PM

Flow reminds me of Late Registration. Loving all of this throwback Ye style.

honkytonk 11/16/12 04:02 PM

He snapped on this, Ye's the fuckin' man

dani1292 11/16/12 04:19 PM

Kanye sounds great, as usual; but my goodness is that original song annoying as fuck.

Chris Collum 11/16/12 04:34 PM

Yeah Kanye sounded awesome. Stopped listening when Rihanna came in.

Dustin Harkins 11/16/12 04:40 PM

On that Diamonds remix, I swore he spazzed.

brokencyde 11/16/12 05:17 PM

100x better than his Katy Perry remix.

Makes the song a whole lot better.

Who Is Ryan? 11/16/12 05:31 PM

I love Kanye, but that remix is terrible.

Ponyboy 11/16/12 07:17 PM

That fresh prince part is awesome

truthbetoldxx 11/16/12 07:26 PM

man he fucking went in. i hate this original song but this is one of his best verses of the year

evilandgood 11/16/12 08:14 PM

Is it just me or do the drums and strings remind anyone of Peter Gabriel?

The_Effort 11/16/12 08:26 PM

I may sound stupid for asking this, but is Kanye consistently THIS good? That verse was insane. If he is then I need to start listening to him immediately.

Yes.

Star Slight 11/16/12 11:02 PM

oh wow

TheRealJohnOC 11/16/12 11:21 PM

Rihanna sounds more manlier every album she puts out.

I'd absolutely start listening to him. Just start at the beginning and roll through his albums chronologically is how I'd do it (some people might say skip 808s & Heartbeats). If he's ever "off" for a verse, it's almost never on one of his albums.

HeavenResign 11/17/12 12:56 AM

But uh yeah Kanye fucking kills this. I think Rihanna's okay but I really dislike how she sings this track.

Sia wrote the melody and lyrics for this song.

brandon_260 11/17/12 08:07 AM

I think this is up there as one of his best verses.

Born_For_This 11/17/12 08:40 AM

That was fucking awesome.

TorontoMatt 11/17/12 09:02 AM

kanye is a dork

Shit, you're right. Especially when she sings "alive" it sounds exactly like Sia's style. Rihanna never sang like that before.

Jeff_Ryan 11/17/12 11:08 AM

This song has grown on me but I really don't think Unapologetic as a whole will.

I will listen to / love anything Yesus Christ touches though.

PopPunkKid 11/17/12 11:17 AM

This song is so awful.

RonStoppable 11/17/12 12:59 PM

kanyeeeeeee <3

I know. It's also pretty clear that she sung the demo tape too

Matt Chylak 11/17/12 02:41 PM

that was phenomenal

xJesusFreakx 11/17/12 07:21 PM

Unlike most of the thread, I like this song a lot. I did think it was missing something, though. That sick Ye verse pushes it into "love it" territory.

BusterBluth 11/17/12 08:09 PM

kills it

Miketheunicycle 11/17/12 09:01 PM

kanye sounded great on that

It grew on me. Especially when the video was released

CTRL+ALT+DANCE 11/18/12 10:51 AM

woooo, kanye killed it!
& i will always love this song. just like how it flows.

brook183 11/18/12 05:01 PM

How Ye doin'? He doin' quite well. And yeah, the way Rihanna says "bright" is so annoying.

heartsdivided 11/18/12 09:52 PM

absolutepunk?

mishima 11/19/12 02:49 AM

So excited .... NOT.

mikenewsbears 11/19/12 08:38 AM

Yeezy remains on FIRE. Killin' it.
