Yeah they are definitely talented enough to pull off an instrumental record.

Why did Cove leave exactly?
I always assumed it was because they were disappointed with his song writing on the last record but I imagine it was more than that

His vocals had gotten pretty awful, partly because of smoking I think? The last time I saw them was on Warped Tour and they were terrible, especially Cove. I'd seen them many times, and it was really sad to watch.

Me either ... I dunno if they'll ever release anything again at this point.

PetitnaindesĪles 11/19/12 01:12 PM

i wish they'd stop teasing and tell us who's the singer. anyway the EP turns 10 next year

Born_For_This 11/19/12 01:16 PM

Just announce the vocalist and give us SOMETHING!

This is exactly what I came in to say.

ChaseTx 11/19/12 01:25 PM

Meh. They were never outstanding.

Seven Years is one of the most influential songs of its time. Saosin w/ Anthony would've continued to have been a HUGE band in the scene

and it's still the weakest song on that phenomenal EP.

blindrider529 11/19/12 01:29 PM

Love Sao, but until I get confirmation on who is doing vocals I just don't care.

Agreed, first time I saw them the blew my mind, then a few years ago I almost walked out - Cove was freaking terrible and mostly seemed uninterested

pepster50 11/19/12 01:35 PM

There self titled is still one of my favorites. Hope they can create something as good as that

NFG4ever 11/19/12 01:38 PM

The Self Titled is one of my favorite CDS of all time , it ment a lot too me in 2006 , I became a huge Cove fan and even a huge fan of the EP , that being said I moved on but news like this will still catch my attention .. I look forward to hearing what they pull off ..

They should jump on the 10 year reunion tour train. Bring back Anthony for the tour...and while they are at it, let him do the vocals.
