Future Touché Amoré/Pianos Become The Teeth Split?
 

Both Touché Amoré and Pianos Become The Teeth posted similar images on Instagram last night. Fans have been reporting that both bands have been playing new songs at recent shows and mentioning something about releasing a split together in the near future. We'll have more info on this as it comes forward.

Interested to see where PBTT go lyrically.

so if we get three songs each that will total 2:15 seconds for TA.

I mean, member of both bands have brought up a future split with each other too. but I guess the only "official" source I can think of would be an interview with PBTT from almost a year ago basically saying that they think they're doing it and they think Deathwish is putting it out. TA has another split coming out too but you didn't hear it from me...:-)

I don't know what to think of the new PBTT song, it was almost like a ballad and didn't fit in with the rest of the set. Hopefully they re-work it and it sounds better recorded.

Mmm yeah. I saw both of em in the last couple months, and both new songs they played were fuckin' awesome.

People should've been as excited when PBTT did a split with the saddest landscape. Somewhat legendary band and one hell of a split.

Ill take anything Pianos releases. Band is truly awesome, and I'm psyched to hopefully be seeing them live soon.

I am also a fan of Touché, and really loved their first two releases. The newest full length I have a hard time getting into.

Yes, TA's new song Gravity Metaphorically is on the split. (Source = TA's merch guy confirmed this when I asked him last month)

that split is soooo good. both bands dropped VERY good songs on that. got to see Pianos play that song once too, and I don't think they've been keeping it in their live rotation since the last record came out.

im assuming you are speaking of the title fight split that was buzzing a few days ago, from the painting that TF's album artist posted?

Really? I enjoyed the new PBTT song a lot when I saw them. It may not have been as heavy as everything else, but it was still awesome and had almost a Thursday vibe to it. Either way, it'll be interesting to hear on the split.
