I like Listen and Forgive, but I hope this one has the energy and pop-punk feel the older stuff had.

I'm kind of hoping for a record continuing the Listen and Forgive sound, but a little bit faster-paced and energetic.

DeeEee1985 11/20/12 12:48 PM

Listen and Forgive is awesome, I'd be interested to see how their next album goes.

TheSkyline 11/20/12 12:55 PM

Really interesting choice for a producer, I'm excited.

Micah511 11/20/12 12:56 PM

Beyond pumped! I still listen to listen and forgive regularly. Love this band.

This. I feel like their earlier stuff had an awkward song layout but they mastered it in Listen and Forgive. I actually prefer Listen and Forgive because of the great guitar work and Joe sings better with slower songs like that.

MJSchmidt 11/20/12 01:48 PM

Nice producer choice. Glad Gary is sticking around in some capacity. Very interested to hear which direction they take with this one. I am thinking it's going to be more aggressive based on what they have said in interviews about their sound, but I could be way off. Would not be surprised if they build on the Listen and Forgive sound either.

Jared215 11/20/12 02:03 PM

I have have pretty much the same sentiments as everyone else. Hoping for the conciseness of Listen and Forgive coupled with the rawness and punk energy of Keep This to Yourself. If that happens, I'm calling a possible AOTY contender for 2013.

YOUAREtehSCENE 11/20/12 02:03 PM

Transhit is wicked slow for me, I couldn't get into their last disc, Why even call them pop punk, there wasn't anything poppy, on that last record, nor pop punk!?

Stoked there a boston band, and I few up in mass, but ehh this band is terrible.

Big_Guy 11/20/12 02:08 PM

I usually like when bands "grow up", but This Will Not Define Us hit me at the perfect time in my life and I hope we get another one of those.

(I know that will not happen)

Stephin_DC 11/20/12 02:23 PM

I liked the direction of Listen & Forgive, but I thought there was a couple really bad songs on that record. Hopefully they can take the good from that record and improve upon it.

The grammar/syntax in this post makes me want to violently punch something.

Also, Transit is awesome. Looking forward to this.

Genres don't matter, they just come from people like you who feel the need to label everything. Transit is a great band and I can't wait for this record.

AP_Punk 11/20/12 08:40 PM

I'm not too big on Transit but with Ted Hutt on board, I'm very curious to hear this.

xBranx 11/20/12 10:37 PM

Very excited.

WANT IT NOW!

This match up makes no sense to me. Look at Ted's discography. Where does Transit's sound fit in?

Only mis-informed people call them pop-punk because their earlier albums were more pop-punk and they still get lumped into that scene.

Who says they need to "fit in"?

brothemighty 11/21/12 10:38 AM

WOOOOOOOOOO! Day 1 for sure. Can't wait for another Listen and Forgive.
