sweet. Love me some city and colour. Can't wait for the album and to see AOF in December

thetruthisvile 11/22/12 02:45 PM

I wish AOF wasn't over.

JamesMichael 11/22/12 02:46 PM

Wow that was quicker than expected. I've always liked Alexis a lot more (so stoked to see them next week!) but I do like me some City and Colour as well. Big Dallas Green fan!

SpyKi 11/22/12 02:59 PM

Hope it's more consistent than the last one, I loved a few tracks on that but I just couldn't get into it as a whole.

NewAgeofHorus 11/22/12 03:04 PM

Hopefully a March release.

InfiniteArms 11/22/12 03:27 PM

That was quick

JoshKilpatrickL 11/22/12 03:36 PM

sound more like Sometimes, a little less like BMYL and Little Hell

Steeeve Perry 11/22/12 03:56 PM

Bring Me Your Love is his best by far, but Little Hell grew on me after a lot of spins. The songs on Little Hell translated live exceptionally also.

Season three is the best season so far.

ZachMadeMeOdd 11/22/12 04:03 PM

The only track I've never liked from this man was the first single off Little Hell. I do hope he goes back to more of his raw emotion style he has. The full band sound is great live, but there isn't anything like when this man sits with an acoustic.

sweetforever 11/22/12 04:10 PM

Good news, need to spin Little Hell more, but I love BMYL

ITTJagger 11/22/12 04:49 PM

I hate to but I have to be that guy....RIYL?
I see their name everywhere but have never checked em out...

Portugal4142 11/22/12 05:28 PM

Wow. Great news.

carcrashofahart 11/22/12 05:31 PM

i hope it's more acoustic than little hell.

I'll make it easy

cubsml34 11/22/12 06:09 PM

Loved Little Hell, can't wait for this.

BozzBlonde 11/22/12 06:18 PM

Little Hell grew on me the more I listened, but I still don't think it's as strong as the last two. Interested to see where he takes this album though.

Ohaidere 11/22/12 06:21 PM

Hopefully, since it seems it was recorded fast, it's an acoustic album.

ramomcferno 11/22/12 06:30 PM

I excited to check it out.

Joey-Wan Kenobi 11/22/12 06:33 PM

Okay, so pre orders go up when?

Dirge07 11/22/12 06:38 PM

YAYAYAYAY!!!

sdisticsquirrel 11/22/12 07:08 PM

Um, awesome.

Ska Senanake 11/22/12 09:35 PM

I don't care how it sounds, hopefully he made a rap album

Craig Manning 11/22/12 09:39 PM

I hope it's better than Little Hell...

brook183 11/22/12 09:40 PM

bonerz

mikeyg003 11/22/12 10:15 PM

I love Sometimes and Little Hell. Never really got into BMYL. Hopefully this will be amazing.

thats really not saying a whole lot

Honestly, I always found Sometimes to be the weakest. Unpopular opinion time. That said, I love all of his music and hopefully, the song in the Making of Little Hell video that was never released is released here.

All three albums transport me somewhere different and they all sound amazing when performed live. Musically speaking, this man would have to mount a giant effort to do something wrong in my eyes with the exception of leaving alexisonfire.

phillipjacob 11/22/12 11:27 PM

I have high hopes for this.

Rolling Stones

GetUpAndrew 11/23/12 12:33 AM

Hopin' for a more acoustic release. I mean, I like his full band songs, but when it's only just him and his acoustic guitar, it is incredible.

Keele 11/23/12 03:04 AM

Agreed. Even if he favours the acoustic guitar like the track Little Hell and has a band behind it. I'm sure no matter what it'll have some great songs though. Each album has, even if I prefer Sometimes.

Yeah, me as well. I'd much sooner listen to live performances of most of those songs.

ChristianLFTW 11/23/12 07:23 AM

I am satisfied with anything that involves Dallas Green's voice.

Ryan Gardner 11/23/12 07:46 AM

Cannot wait

dragani 11/23/12 10:38 AM

Just like Alexisonfire, Dallas' songwriting has gotten progressively better with every album release. Does that mean you should enjoy Little Hell a lot more than Bring Me Your Love or Sometimes ? No.

I'm going to paraphrase (I actually think it was Dallas himself who said it best), but sometimes people are at a particular place in their lives emotionally where they can relate to an artist's music more and create deep connections to songs which essentially plants a seed for future nostalgic unity between person and song. However, had that album come out a year sooner or later, or had the person been at a different state in their lives while listening, it could have impacted them more or less, depending on where their head was at.

I might admit Bring Me Your Love is my favourite City and Colour album, but there's no question his best work is Little Hell.

Also, for those who think he should "go back to acoustic." He hasn't been doing acoustic-only albums since his original demos leaked (when the band was just him under his own name, before City and Colour existed). Listen to Sometimes again and pay attention to the amount of songs using the full band -- they're definitely there, just not as obvious as his latest two releases.

Agreed. When I saw him live, they sounded miles better than the studio tracks. I've always thought Sometimes's production is really cold and bland, even though the songs are great. For me, Little Hell was what I related to the most, but everyone has their preferences.

^this. All of this.

Dre Okorley 11/23/12 12:33 PM

Can't wait. He's one of the only (if not the only) acoustic solo artists I like.

baton 11/23/12 12:44 PM

Little Hell was amazing, I enjoyed every single album of his, so can't wait for another one and it doesn't matter what's the main sound for it

fternutter 11/23/12 05:24 PM

like most are saying, little hell grows on you after awhile. bmyl was my favorite album but lately i find myself going back to sometimes. either way stoked.

Saint Angeles 11/23/12 10:26 PM

... and the long wait begins.

I had to watch S2 twice so the gf could catch up... ugh. Sophia coming out the barn remained a lone highlight, until the last couple of episodes. And S1 had six epsiodes so you're definitely right haha. But I'm happy with where they're taking it.
