AP.net Chat: Triple Crown Records Tour
Update: The chat is now over. We'd like to thank Nick, Phil, Tanner and Jordan for taking some time out of their busy schedules to spend a couple hours with us. Go and catch them on the Triple Crown Records tour next month!

The guys from Moving Mountains, O'Brother and Caspian will be chatting in this thread at 8pm EST. Stop by and talk about their upcoming tour, new albums or anything in general!

Rules for Chat
Be respectful. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but make sure that you aren't crossing any boundaries of any sort. If you have any hesitations about posting a certain question, odds are you shouldn't post it. Disrespect will not be tolerated and will be met with a deleted post and a ban.

Double, triple, and quadruple posts will be deleted, along with posts that are overly modified to get attention. No extra formatting is needed; I'm sure they can read just as well as, if not better than, most of us.

If they doesn't answer your question, feel free to ask another.

This is not a way to ask them for favors, to ask them if they'll make your voicemail message for you or visit you at your house.

Have fun. The idea is for everyone to talk together and share in a collective experience.

Some Posting Tips
Obviously you need to register for an account to participate. It's free. It's easy.

You may want to add an avatar to your account. It's that little icon by your post and it makes you stand out.

The chat takes place in the comments section of this thread -- it's just like a regular forum thread.

To reply to a post, click the "quote" link on it - and then type your reply. Simple.

To post a new reply, scroll to the bottom of the page and use either the "quick reply" box - or click the "write a comment" button.

If this is your first time on the website, remember that it may take a little getting used to - but we hope we made the experience easy for even first time posters. Hope you have a good time. Don't forget to come back daily to see what kinds of things we have going on during the day. Or follow us on twitter or facebook to not miss any important announcements.

Hey guys!

Question for Nick from MovMou: We know that the album you guys are working on is stylistically different than Waves, but if you had to describe it in a few words, how would you do so?

Thanks for taking the time to do this, everyone!

to Anton from O'Brother: what do you use for your dirty tone? on the thrice/movmou/la dispute tour it was incredible

to any of the O'Bros: what tuning is Ascension in?

Dear MM, what happened to that awesome half-sized lightbox you used to have 5 years ago? Saw you play a firehouse show a long, long time ago and it was a pretty epic part of your set.

O'Brother: What are your plans for recording the next full length, and will it be as mindblowingly awesome as Garden Window?

Deathco_019 11/28/12 06:03 PM

Gonna give Caspian some love here.

Phil, what's your favorite song on the new album and why?

Fin. 11/28/12 06:03 PM

To Caspian: Why did you guys decide to sign with Triple Crown?

O'BrotherTanner 11/28/12 06:04 PM

ok. jordan and tanner from o'brother here.

Deathco_019 11/28/12 06:04 PM

O'Brother: Do you think we'll be getting a new full-length in 2013, or does 2014 seem more likely?

branchesofpaper 11/28/12 06:05 PM

Caspian: If you could name two musical influences from the latest record, who would they be?

for dirty tone anton uses a fuzzrocious rat-tail and a zvex box of rock.

tunings for ascension are all over the place, i'm in standard but the baritone is in drop A
