First 6 Warped Tour 2013 Bands Announced
 

The first six bands playing the 2013 Vans Warped Tour have been announced: The Story So Far, Go Radio, Woe is Me, Like Moths To Flames, I See Stars and Big Chocolate. Discounted pre-sale tickets are now available.

General comments I've seen on POZ is full love for TSSF, not so much love for the rest. Excitement would have been much different if TSSF weren't in that list.

I'm mostly stoked on TSSF/LMTF, but depending on how many dates I end up going to/how much recording I'll get done, I'm open to seeing the others.

The crowd for TSSF will probably wind up being big so i might see that. Other than that, might go see Big Chocolate. No shame.

Warped always adds at least 15 bands I love later on. Probably won't end up seeing any of those six announced. Still buying a ticket today.

Bleh, this announcement is too heavy / too poppy / too scene / not scene enough. It was better three years ago / five years ago / last year / back when I was younger.

No idea what Big Chocolate was until a nice google search. I was hoping for a very large black man who raps specifically about candy. Bummer. :-(

The Story So Far and Go Radio could be interesting. Dont really care about the other ones.

Can we just have a repeat of Warped 2008? That was the best lineup ever.

How I know I'm out of touch with whatever is left of the scene - I've never heard of any of those bands.

I know I am going to get shit for this, but the only band on there that I am excited for is Woe, Is Me. Go Radio too, but I really only know their singles (even though I have both of their albums. Still haven't gotten a chance to listen to them both straight through). No shame about Woe, Is Me ;)

I really don't see anyone bitching. I see people offering their opinion on the first announcement of bands officially released.

The Story So Far had an unbearable crowd at GK Tour. I can't imagine what it will be like here.

lmtf is so awful, I don't get how they're big enough for warped.

TSSF is awesome summer music and I wouldn't mind seeing Go Radio, so a good start all in all.

When I saw The Story So Far on there it got me pretty dang stoked. They are gonna get huge after this tour. I'll probably see I See Stars just cause they are local and I've followed them for a while, but the number of scene/brocore kids that are gonna be there is gonna make it hard. I'll probably check Go Radio too, hope they play a lot of stuff off the new album. Overall I probably would have been pretty disappointed with this announcement if TSSF wasn't on it

I really didn't expect Go Radio this year but they make sense. The rest are just bands I'd watch from the back of the crowd and judge silently.

I don't think the NYC date will be at the Nassau Coliseum. Place is a shithole now that the Islanders are moving to Barclays Center.

Am I the only one who is excited for TSSF but who doesn't care for Go Radio?

I'm 18 for god's sake and have only heard of two of the bands listed. Even the past line-up had so many names I've never heard of. I don't know where all these new bands are coming from.
