Meh. I think you just have to reach a point where you say "this one...it just don't work."

CarpetElf 12/08/12 10:58 AM

Eh, it's not like they can really do worse than the last two.

Nyquist Theorem 12/08/12 11:02 AM

I'd like to see them pull it off. The last two were indeed bad. Besides, they'll keep trying with this stuff because

TJ Wells 12/08/12 11:05 AM

From the writer of Green Lantern? Now I'm excited.

Nyquist Theorem 12/08/12 11:10 AM

Had not checked the credentials yet, but yeah. He's written better stuff than that alongside Greg Berlanti in the past, so here's to hoping for the best.

Ricketts 12/08/12 10:50 PM

If it's kept sciency, it can totally work. I assume, however, that it will try to be the Avengers and fail miserably.

Dodge725 12/09/12 12:54 AM

Ugh. Get ready for the same movie we had a few years ago since the origin film must be Dr. Doom.

caveBEAR 12/09/12 08:05 AM

They should use Mole Man as the villian - Dr. Doom can be introduced without needing to be the main villian (again).

blimpcityhero11 12/09/12 08:30 AM

I don't think Fox can make this work, but I'm definitely hopeful. FF definitely can work as a movie, but they need to nail the casting. That's really where the last one went horribly wrong, among other reasons.

secretsociety92 12/09/12 10:04 AM

This will either feature a bunch of 20somethings or be dark, since there the trends at the moment.

bladerdude360 12/09/12 10:04 AM

Can't say I'm very excited for this...the last series of films didn't do anything for me.

matthew vaughn jumped on as producer last week, so that's somewhat promising. and seth grahame smith was hired to touch up the script, which could go either way.

i wrote up my casting choices on my podcast's blog: http://www.moviesonup.com/?p=345

Wow, great casting choices. Given Jason the storm is a great idea.
