PTV Announce 2013 Headline Tour

Pierce The Veil are excited to announce their North American headline tour in spring of 2013, with support from Memphis May Fire, Letlive, and Issues. The "Street Youth Rising Tour" is the follow-up to the band's recent 34 date headline US major market run with Sleeping With Sirens, which completely sold out in all cities.

"We plan on bringing everything that we've got for this next tour and we can't wait to share it with all of you," adds lead singer Vic Fuentes.

Noted as one of MTV Buzzworthy's Breakthrough Artists of 2012, the San Diego, CA ensemble will be touring in support of new album Collide With The Sky, which debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on the Alternative Chart, #1 on the Rock Chart, and #1 on the Hard Music Chart, selling nearly 30,000 copies in its first week. The album is now available on iTunes.

Pierce The Veil will charge into the new year heading to South East Asia, as well as a slot on the Australian 2013 Soundwave Festival in February / March. The band are already selling out a May / June UK headline run with Woe, Is Me, with select dates being upgraded to larger venues. Stay tuned for more exciting tour news!

Really want to see letilive but I'm leaving for Paris that day. Guess I can't be too mad

Why on earth would letlive ever sign up to do this tour. Certainly can't be the whole "to perform in front of a wider audience" because a. Band is huge right now and b. Not one person who'd attend this show would actually be going to hear music.

I enjoyed the last album every band on this tour put out. letlive. Is doing it right. The fact that they can appeal to audiences like this, and audiences who go to see the Chariot and every time I die is amazing. Just be happy a good band is getting exposure.

Would go for PTV and Letlive., too bad its nowhere near. Those two bands became bros tho, hope they go do another one together soon.

Soooo stoked this is coming to Abq. Can't wait.

Will probably go to the Clifton Park date.

Letlive has already opened for PTV before, last year on their headliner with Miss May I and Woe, Is Me (when it still looked a like Issues) so its not at all surprising tbh. They also aren't that huge, they still want to play in front of as many people as physically possible.

Will be at the Cincy date. So stoked to finally see letlive. I like a fair portion of PTV and MMF material as well.

This is worth going to just to hear 'Tangled in the Great Escape' with Jason. Why can't the UK have this tour instead of Woe, Is Me? Grumble.
