ABSOLUTExclusive: ...Of Sinking Ships

Today we're premiering a track from ...Of Sinking Ships called "One Day, We Will..." which comes from the band's upcoming split with Glower on Broken Circles Records. ...Of Sinking Ships is an instrumental band out of Charlotte, NC featuring Chad Waldrup formerly of Hopesfall, Tim Cossor of HRVRD, and Ethan Ricks. Listen to the track on the band's AP.net profile and leave your thoughts in the replies.

Pretty neat. Hope they can get the drums sounding a bit thicker next time. But a great debut.

Check out their previous self-titled album that came out in 2006. Definitely worth it.

http://www.amazon.com/Of-Sinking-Ships/dp/B000P7RSP8 You can probably buy the MP3 version on Amazon.

It was a solid album:

I grew up in NC and .hopesfall. was one of my favorite bands in high school when I found them in like 2000. So, I followed all of their sideprojects and solo albums over the years. Their self titled album came out in 2005 or 2006 (sputnik says 2006 but it seems earlier than that)

jasonisasleep 12/11/12 07:59 PM

loved the self titled album, had it for years. can't wait for new stuff.

gotcha. Yeah I couldn't remember the exact date since it had been so long since i picked it up. Sputnik said 2006 but I KNEW that wasn't right, I just couldn't remember how many years earlier it actually came out.

websmith 12/14/12 08:45 AM

Nice! I'm glad they are back and making awesome post-rock again.
