I tend to have a different idea of great guitar tones than most. I tend to like 'em cleaner.

For sure. Daydream Nation isn't my favorite Youth record, but all the guitar tones on that record are damn near perfect.

i most certainly agree with your post of Transatlanticism. but im always even more enthralled by the atmosphere Chris creates from those guitars (and probably other things). Transatlanticism is sonically my favorite album, no questions about it (though Kid A and Born In The USB certainly give it a run for its money)
