Is [b]fun.[/B a new band?

herestoyoufla 12/20/12 02:06 PM

Gotta remember to check this EP out...

so good. hopefully this'll get people who only complain about autotune to admit how fantastic this song is.

iden22 12/20/12 02:28 PM

Such a great song, with or without auto tune.

Searos 12/20/12 02:37 PM

Way better than the album version. Proof that auto tune was not needed.

CavanaughPark 12/20/12 02:38 PM

Good vibes. Love it.

I loved Some Nights but i gotta admit "It Get's Better" and "Stars" sound soo much better in the itunes version.

I disagree.

I don't get the hate on Stars and It Gets Better, they're both killer jams on the album. It Gets Better is definitely in my top 3 from Some Nights.

The EP is great, though.

I love, love, LOVE Stars. It's my favourite from Some Nights, sounds good without the autotune too.

We will most likely always disagree about this band than because I find Some Nights to be abysmal overall. I do like some of the stripped downed versions from these sessions. I tried very hard to like it and gave it plenty of listens but after a while just had to set it down and just admit that I wanted nothing to do with the album. Surprised me cause I love progression in sound and rarely find no merit in albums by bands I love.

Regardless though I am glad the band is getting the exposure they deserve and hope to like future albums. Sonically Some Nights did nothing for me but hey at least The Shins and Jukebox The Ghost had new albums this year I enjoyed.

I agree with your disagreement. I actually really didn't like this version of the song at all. I don't know if Nate was under the weather or what, but it seemed like he just wasn't nailing notes as much as usual.
