The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are going on an all acoustic tour, named "Unplugged & Unaffected". The tour will run from April to May and full dates can be seen below.

Nope. They're way too popular to just kick to the side. "Face Down" and "Guardian Angel" are fucking huge hits.

March 6th, 2008 New York, NY - Top 2007 breakout rock group The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is back in the studio recording the follow-up to their hugely successful Platinum debut DON'T YOU FAKE IT, while "Damn Regret", the fourth single from this album, is being pushed independently by the band and is now impacting the airwaves, on the internet and on video networks, including an independent band-produced video currently on rotation on The Fuse network, among others.

Stay tuned for a series of important announcements regarding Virgin Records, The RJA Guardian Angel Foundation, the Soundwave cancellation, our new video and our new record.

So while it may not be the smartest thing for Virgin, who knows what happened. Maybe they fulfilled their contract and wanted to go do everything on their own. It's been a little over a month since that blog post and nothing as come about... maybe soon. Not that it seems many people who are coming to this thread care, but I figured I would help out anyone looking for info.

I think there is also an atlanta date for this as well, i just think i remember seeing a flyer or something at the stonerider show.
