Interview Questions: The New Frontiers

I will be interviewing The New Frontiers this week at their show in Cincinnati. If you have any questions you would like to have the band answer, leave them in the replies.

The debut album, Mending, was beautiful. How are you planning to top Mending? Are you working on new music?

theguilt engine 07/20/08 03:09 PM

Steve! I'll be there too. I can't wait...for once they're not opening.

holybuble 07/20/08 03:10 PM

what did you inspire to write down a song like black lungs?

WCC335 07/20/08 03:36 PM

When are you going to record a studio version of "The Ones You Keep?"

drudo182 07/20/08 03:48 PM

Two questions:

1. Will there ever be a studio version of "Company"?

2. To me, the song "Car Doors and Stolen Keys" resembles the work of Ryan Adams. Is his music an influence on you guys at all, or this song specifically?

Christianity seems to be a topic in some of the lyrics. Do any of you guys go to church or read the Bible?

If yes to either, how does that effect your music and the direction your band is headed in capturing fans.

If no or mixed answer, what is the point in having super suggestive lyrics like "Learn to pray like Jesus?"

Is there a deeper message to your music other than another band living a rock and roll life style?

SoCoSquid4 07/20/08 05:51 PM

you have seemed to be quite popular among ap.net. what kind of influence have outside internet sites had on developing your fan base?

MattRM 07/20/08 06:03 PM

Any hilarious/creepy stories about people you've met while on tour?

Ayyee, Paper Rival, so good. I really hope I can make it down. I'm back home for the summer, but this may call for a road trip.

TNF live is so worth it alone...they are incredible.

iwasahero 07/20/08 06:54 PM

I'm debating whether or not to go to this show.

Anyone going to Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin tomorrow?
