They decided since Avenged Sevenfold got huge being a poor mans GNR, they could be a poor mans Metallica and rake in some dough before this fad dies out.

Good. The last album sounded he sounded like james hetfield from metallica, and it sucked.

Good. If I want to hear Metallica, I'll listen to Metallica.

Their last album really did suck unbelievably. I liked the older stuff, so let's see if they fuse it or revert back completely, or bring on a new sound.

Musically, Crusade blew the earlier stuff out of the water. Vocally... who cares? You're in this for the wrong reasons.

Anyone that says A7X is a poor man's GNR doesn't know shit about GNR.

Although, I would agree that Trivium sounds a lot like Metallica.
