Ha, I was just having this conversation yesterday.
These albums bring memories of driving around OSU in the fall with friends, walking around campus at night with our hoodies on, sitting out on the balconies of our dorms. Late night drives after seeing my girlfriend who lived an hour away. For me the instantly remind me of part of my life that was so great, relaxed, and definitely more simple. Sometimes its hard to listen to these because I miss those days so much. Now I sit at a cube and listen to Metal most of the day. haha. I'm in a " british phase" and the new album of Dirty Pretty Things is perfect for autumn I think.
The Wombats - A Guide To Love, Loss and Desesperation is UH-MAZING too. |
The Early November (Room's Too Cold), Circa Survive (Juturna)
|
Circa Survive is my favorite hands down but I have noticed when summer comes around I don't really put their albums in rotation. So I am looking forward to listening to Juturna & On Letting Go and hashing up all those old feelings.
Even though some might classify Minus the Bear as a band that has summer vibes, Planet of Ice seems to be the perfect fall/winter album for me at least |
