Actually, the new stuff sounds very different to the old stuff.

They better pray they come out with a single that radio actually responds to (otherwise, this band is fucked, as they have no core fanbase).

I don't really understand the departure from their last CD, it seems like they were doing well with two singles that gave them some success. I guess bands choose to change their styles though.

Having a top 20 song on the modern rock charts means nothing these days. Hell, having a top 10 song means nothing. I bet you most people 16-24 couldn't hum the #1 single on either modern or active charts.

This song is so bad.

I think it had a lot to do with the producer. Howard Benson has always rubbed me the wrong way.

That being said, they were never good to start. The myth busters proved you can polish a turd, but you certainly can't polish a turd with another turd. You just get crap that stinks twice as bad.
